The pickup as we got it. All I have Done is put standard wheels on it. As it had wide wheels on it. I like the original look.[frame][/frame]

Modified the box section in the cab back so the seat can go as far back as possible. As I am 6 foot tall. And my brother is over 6foot 4 we need leg room. Slowly welded the bottom on so not to distort the panel. I am not a panel beater by trade but I like to do it myself so I can make sure there is metal and not filler under the paint.[frame][/frame]

Cut the metal out of the roof of a mercedes. As I don't have a sheet of steel that long. And then started to fabricate.[frame][/frame]

Cut the bottom of the cab away getting rid of the rust. And making the cab back finish properly.[frame][/frame]

Then started to cut out the rust and make up the plates to rebuild it. We also had not got the panel to go on the bottom of the cab back to finish the bottom so as I cut the bottom of the cab off I decided to extend it to reach the bottom of the cab. Also I bolted it to the cab so that it did not lo...

Prep and fabrication of the cab back, it was in a bit of a sorry state. It had about 9 layers of paint on top of the rust.[frame][/frame]

Hi there. New here. Just found ourselves with a Morris 1000 pickup. Our dad had many Morris's over the years. His first car was a 2 door with racing running gear. Anyway. We found this tucked away in a barn locally to us here in brightwater Nelson nz. Being ex pats from the uk we love all things old...
