Re: Problem with coolant not circulating

Yes I think your right. The hose top hose isnt red hot but it is where it enters the rad I guess these kevlar ones dont get red hot. There appears the be slight swirling in rad so I guess its all ok, took it for drive and doesnt need topping up. Have to drain some out now as I used 80% antifreeze mi...

Re: seat webbing issue

Thanks for the advice according to ESM they came originally as flat top but as mentioned it leaves an odd void at the top and an angle at the front so I cut a piece out and spray glued it on. Looks ok from a distance :)

Re: seat webbing issue

These diaphrams replace the webbing completely seems quite a good idea. It seems to look ok height wise but I have a big issue with the shape at the front my original foam had a curved lip which fitted under the front vinyl band (mine are duo tone seats) whereas the new foam is just flat meaning I h...

Re: seat webbing issue

Thanks yes you might be right Ive put the webbing on and it looks ok, the new seat cushions seem to lack the chamfered edge that the old ones had and for the life of me I cant get the round rubber strip in the curved lip at the front - tried heat washing up liquid its just not having it !

The rear of the seat appears to have been welded and I cant see how the clips from the webbing would fix as the horizontal bar appears to be lower than the other 3 sides meaning that at the back of the seat the clips ...

I "restored" one many years ago but you forget where to look I guess I should get a manual, I admit my knowledge is fairly limited . The guys with experience are so handy it can sometimes save hours of head scratching
