Well depends on who you ask how north is north I do like a drive Harrogate or Leeds or the borders, Selkirk , the lakes The Lakes would be an excellent choice! I agree, it's a long way south! But we mind driving the least, and some of our Register come from the Isle of Wight. You'll never please ev...

FYI it is the cast steel clamp you want. I agree with Dale, they're brilliant, although I admit I did use paste to be sure.

Re: send a text and run into a morris van!

Sorry to hear this awful news. A similar thing happened to me in October, I was shunted from behind by a Fiat 500 driver paying more attention to her SatNav. Luckily (for me) she was being followed by a police traffic car, who witnessed the whole thing and ensured that the claim went through without...

Congrats to all involved in organising the Leicestershire Branch Rally at Quorn and Woodhouse station this weekend. Not only a super location, but a good turn out and kind weather. A very good rally with lots to see. Kudos.

Re: poor quality parts update now happy

I have spent far too much money with ESM in the last 12 months! I find their service very good, much better than BM who I used until they supplied me with a faulty "new" radiator.

I've got a set of ESM engine mounts ready to go on actually - am I asking for trouble??

This thread says they are 2BA: http://mmoc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=57871&p=536829&hilit=2ba#p536829 Good luck with it. The studs usually break off if the nuts are stubborn. Re: Front Panel Nuts & Bolts

Providing that you have a engine hoist you do not need to remove the front panel if you are just going to remove the engine. In short term - remove radiator (though engine can be removed without removing radiator) - pull engine forward - turn through 90 degrees and lift out.[frame] http://mmoc.org....

Front Panel Nuts & Bolts

Hello, To facilitate a clutch replacement, this weekend the engine will be coming out of Charlie. This means I will finally have to liberate the front panel, which has been riveted one side and crudely bolted underneath. Said bolts have since been covered in underseal or otherwise rounded/ruined by ...

I have fitted a couple of these. Engine runs alot smoother and more responsive. On the 1098cc i fitted a 45d for mini with gold coil. Once fitted and timed up they are practilcly fit and forget. You need Neg earth. if not already been changed. Alex I echo this. Ignore the naysayers. Although carry ...
