Third brake light

Hi,
I have fitted an internal third brake light, which works when the brake pedal is depressed, however when releasing the pedal there is still a dim light showing. Can anyone assist with why this is. TIA

Trafficator switch

Hi, My Trafficator had been working up to week ago, but they started to fail. On taking the switch out from under the dash through the glove box, I discovered on taking it apart it was corroded. I have purchased a new one from a MM supplier. On trying to connect it I had power from the live wire fro...

Hi I have the above item on my 1957 Morris this one has the horn included. When using the indicator to turn going right it fails to work, but if I pull it up it operates. Turning left is ok. Can anyone point in the right direction as to what to look for when I take it apart. Luckily my trafficators ...

Lock washer on trunnion

Hi, The MOT advised that the lock washer on the top trunnion, was not the correct one as the nut had come loose. I have never worked on this part of the car before, so I would be grateful for any help. I have purchased the correct washer from esm. I have tried to search the message board on this sub...

Re: Fitting Ford ka front seats

Hi, Have finished putting in Ford Ka seats in the front. I followed Andy Wilsons information from the custom and modified news letter. Have to thank Martin for the seats. I have found the seats very comfortable, and considering I have never done anything like this before, all went quite well. Removi...

Re: Insurance disappointment

Well yes I know what you mean about going through the the rig ma roll of value mileage photographs and so on. I did try other companies a few years ago and they offered low premiums for limited mileage, and market rate for the car. I had to laugh when I questioned limited mileage and asked did they ...

Fitting Ford ka front seats

Hi, First I am not a member of the Custom and Modified register, but I hope you will still be able to assist. I have obtained two front seats and I wish to put them in my 4 door morris saloon. I have been sent the CMR newsletter from January 2013, and have read the item on the seats by Andy Wilson. ...
