Lower trunion to swivel pin

Can anybody shed some light on this subject as I'm stuck, I got the lower trunion to swivel pin on first time, to do this I had to remove the threaded pin which fits which the bushes in the trunion, when putting it back in the swivel became real tight and wouldn't move at all. Chassis legs replacement

Hi chaps, going to be soon replacing the chassis legs on my Morris, from front to centre cross member, my question is has anybody done this without a roll over jig or a ramp? How difficult did you find it? Any pointers before I make a start? Any advice welcome on this subject :D

Front chassis legs

Hi all, what to hear some peoples experiences in changing the front chassis legs without a rollover jig, how did you go about it, and any pointers?
Cheers :)

Re: Fueling issue

Hello chaps and thanks all for your input! Had the car fired back up this evening, turns out it ran out of fuel. More fuel and bled the system then toke her out for a drive! Which leads to my next question, can the float be adjusted in the fuel tank as the gauge reading is wrong? It was reading just...

Fueling issue

Hello chaps, been a while since I've logged on here. I broke down this evening in my 1958 Morris fitted with a 1098. It began by being slightly hesitant, the fuel pump began to tick, then juddering, then the ticking became rapid. I thought the fuel gauge may have been reading wrong and tank had ran ...

Anti roll bar ground clearance

Hey guys, wondering if anybody running an anti roll bar has any issues with ground clearance, especially when it comes to speed bumps! The esm one for example with brackets attached to the chassis rails. Also those running a roll bar with a lowered car also!

Escort axle fitting kit

Hello chaps, has anyone with an escort axle swap used the JLH fitting kit, and what existing set up did you use? I'm wondering if these are suitable to use with morris leaf springs. Any advice would be appreciated. http://www.jlhmorrisminors.co.uk/axle-fitting-kit.html

Re: Misfiring!

Thanks for the replies chaps, I assumed it wasn't the coil but swapped it anyhow just in case.. was from an Austin a40 as we have a couple of a40s, but from what I've seen and read up, ill probably buy an electronic ignition, everything else seems tip top!
