Re: Radiator

Looks like a series 2,but not too sure. I've posted it on a few other Classic vehicle sites. Don't want to scrap it if I can avoid it.

Time Waster ?

Fed up with paying Modern car garage bills, I am in the market for a Saloon to commute to work with. I am put off by those who say No time wasters. I don't consider myself a Time waster when viewing a car to buy, I merely want to make sure that the car I'm buying is worth the money - it may,in my op...

Sad News

Just learnt that Ted Connolly, editor of Classic van & Pick up has passed away. A fan of all things classic,he drove a Minor Saloon as an everyday driver. He also did much to promote classic vans and Pick ups in all forms and guises. A sad day for me. :(

Re: MMOC National Rally 2017

I was there Saturday, guess you did Sunday as the only person I recognised was Alan T with his regular stall, and I did several laps of the fields! Edit. ------ just noticed the tent in the picture, seems likely you were there Saturday! There from Friday, didn't go anywhere near the M25, congested r...

Re: MMOC National Rally 2017

Well done Ed, glad it went well for you, weather not too bad in general, and decent turnout. My sentiments entirely re the so called 'pest' control, they're not even safe in their own environment ; someone has to go into their home and spill blood. God knows we've driven them out of most of their h...

Re: MMOC National Rally 2017

I'm surprised the absence of my van is such a big deal! Don't blame the Mmoc for my decision. It's nice to attend in a Minor but it's not the be all and end all ! :o Don't worry Les,just got back. Now I know what you go through to get up North. Good weekend. Great tribute band. My thanks to all who...

Re: Help with Maestro engine.

Thanks Philthehill. Within the inlet manifold, and in the base of it(you have to look from underneath) there is some kind of plug. The same size as a 10 pence coin. Coolant is leaking from this plug. I guess I'll have to take the manifold off to repair,or replace it. Hope I can find one. Finding repl...
