The cost is £95 for the day, or half that (I think) for a half day.

Re: pickup restoration project
I really would not start rebuilding this engine until you are 100% certain that all oil ways and waterways are completely free of crud and rust. Simply running a hose pipe into the motor will not do. Have you checked that the hardened surfaces ie crank and rocker gear are all free of corrosion. SPL ...

As Marky B, I sqirt in a blob of grease into the trunnion first. Check for play on the trunnions, do not fit them if you can detect any wobble or free play.

Llandow trackday 21st July
A mid week trackday, wednesday, but should be another friendly affair and a chance for novices to receive some first class tuition. This is a very worthwhile trackday at which its hoped we can raise around £2500 for charity. Here ia a list of cars already booked in, which leaves room for a few more....

Suzuki powered Minors
Had an interesting chat with a guy today who fits Suzuki engines to MGB's and Vauxhaul or BMW diesel engines into Scimitars. The favourite for real petrol heads seemed to be the 200bhp V6 Vitara motor, very small and light. Anyone tried these powerplants ?.

Re: pickup restoration project
Get the engine acid dipped to clear the oil and waterways, be careful of 'hardened ' surfaces which have been wrecked by the rust, I'd replace these parts with good or new ones.

Re: ESM suspension
The kit shown is a general assist kit to run alongside the standard springs less the lever arm damper. The O Burton/ESM front coil over kit runs along the same principal. You have to decide whether the coils are necessary for your application or simply use gas dampers. I'd rather go coils plus std t...

Re: 1968 disc brake conversion ..
You will need a disc kit from one of the Minor suppliers/specialists. (research the market well before purchasing) these kits will supply you with all you need except for a header tank, optional servo and modified master cylinder.
Kits are all bolt on/off
