...and maybe Fleabay will look at the commission they're losing and up their game a little ?

Looks like you've spent most of the gas , so a cloth over a sharp awl should do the job.....

Sorry but it's the only piccie I have of it, after altering the " tell-tale " lamp , but you can see the problems with old wiring and old solder..

The only problem is that , the original post/problem ( on this forum , and maybe on the other forum ) is with the earlier indicator unit , which is not self-cancelling and is totally different from the later unit as shown in the photos... " Luckily my trafficators still work on a separate switch. " ...
