Oil leak

Hi,
Duncan (1952 Series MM) has developed an oil leak from the engine to rubber connection in the bulk head.
Can you give some information on how to fix this..
Does the rubber connection disconnect?

Any help...gratefully received...
cheers,
Chris

cartoon information sheet

Sorry to post such a strange request...BUT some time back on one of my many searches of the internet for Sidevalve parts...I just happened to follow a link and found the most wonderful cartoon about how to drive a Morris Minor...it was by a chap called Dick Winney . Needless to say I have searched a...

I have at last had a chance to get some information. Yes Duncan is a 1952 version...June if I remember correctly...Duncan has thermostat housing but no water pump...there appears to be a plate covering where you would expect the pump to be. There appears to be fan blades attached to the dynamo. It's...

That's fine...you're probably right...but I'm just not sure how good the engine is...the garage say it's very corroded and pitted...they took photos to show me...it certainly didn't look very pretty..

He has now had the head planed and a new gasket fitted. He originally had no compression on cylinders 3 and 4. the garage phoned and ...

Today we went for his service and MOT...but after a very pleasant 20 mile drive he lost power and stopped only metres from the garage. The garage towed him. He has...

I had planned to fit a new condenser and points...but the points are fine and when looking at the condenser...it's not connected...! is that usual with ...

Now...you guys are getting a tad too technical for me...I'm pretty certain it has a dynamo....yes the fuel pump clicks...I think the LED lights come on at different times...but like kevin's request to check if I have sparks at the plugs...it's a bit tricky to check when I'm in the drivers seat... Ca...

Poor starting

Hi, Duncan, my 1952 Series MM is usually very good at starting IF he has been driven at least once a week...BUT...on the odd occassion when I am not able to take him out for a drive...he then refuses to start! Over the past little while he's had a new battery, new fuel pump, new fuel pipe, new point...
