Thanks for the replies. My only fear is fire, anything else would be repairable. I just cannot see how I could just go out with £10k and buy another in the same condition.
Anyway I am talking with RH Specialist Insurance and an agreed value is looking better.

Dave, just bite the bullet and drill a new hole, if you start with a small sharp drill bit it wont take more than a few minutes and at least you will have the piece of mind that nothing is going to drop off as you drive along.

Insurance Question
I have tried to insure my newly restored pickup with Footman James. I filled in the condition form, sent photos and sent a valuation from Wildae Restorations Ltd. (Not the company that restored it) They have indicated that a Value of £25000 for insurance purposes. The letter from FJ says to resubmit...

There Must be different versions.
Just had a look and both the traveller and the pickup have split pins.
It is really something that does not want to come undone while driving around.

I have had the pickup back for a couple of weeks. Rich was not able to finish all the works as we had a deadline to export to avoid paying VAT on top of our own version GST. Confusion!
Those were the pictures of the exhaust on my pickup but did show the 3 way union near the servo hanging without a bolt through it.
David, you are welcome to come over and bolt it up for me!!
