I've got the same anti roll bar on my traveller.
The bushes are the same size as the van bushes.
I fitted poly ones to mine.

Re: Traveller left hand door L bracket
Thank you Mark,
That's exactly the info i need.
Flywheel,
According to the book, it's purpose is to make sure the center of the doors align at the top and press evenly against the top rail door seal.
Cheers

Traveller left hand door L bracket
My Traveller is missing the metal L bracket that screws to the top of the left hand door. There is a picture and description of it on page 111 of the Traveller complete companion book. Would anyone be able to help with a pic of the front of it, or a drawing with dimensions. Hopefully should be prett...

Does anyone know how the mmc batch rear doors compare to the woodies matched pair?
The mmcbath ones are cheaper, and in stock at ESM
Woodies ones have a 12 week wait for availability.
does the matched pair bit matter?

Re: loss of power
The saga continues. I went to drive her last weekend. Turned on the ignition, waited for the petrol pump to finish priming. turned on the starter, there was a loud bang and then nothing. Had a look under the bonnet, and the sealed battery had exploded, covering the engine bay in acid !! I removed th...

Re: loss of power
Had a quick go yesterday and think I've made some progress. I re torqued the cylinder head to 59NM ( 44lbft), each nut took about a 1/4 to 1/3 turn to get there. I then checked valve clearances and set them to 15 thou exhaust and 12 thou inlet. The gaps were closer, probably around 10 - 12 thou. I a...

Re: loss of power
Thanks guys, if it was a blown gasket or stuffed valve wouldn't it be misbehaving all the time? when it occurs the fuel pump ticks as per normal so because of that, and the fact it has only just been rebuilt I had ruled it. Will try the fuel cap vacuum thing. Will probably have to wait till the week...

Re: loss of power
If I pull the plug leads while its idling I notice it drops revs on all cylinders, except number 4.
there is no noticeable difference on it.
when reconnecting the leads I can see a spark on all leads between the plug and lead.

loss of power
My traveller has developed a loss of power problem. It starts fine, and idles well, and drives well for about 10 minutes or so. Then it starts misfiring and losses power, before chugging to a complete stop. If I leave it for a minute, it will restart easily and let me get a bit further down the road...

Re: replacement dizzy advice
Thanks guys, Am pretty sure the head is a 12g940. I don't know what size chokes and jets are in the weber, the garage just said they set it all up to run with the engine. I'll order a new dizzy and then I can overhaul the current one and keep it as a spare. My trav is back in the garage at mums plac...

Re: replacement dizzy advice
thanks Roy, at this stage will stick with the weber as it's all i've got. based on your advice about the 45 vs 25 i should go for the 43 non vacuum given i'm going to keep the weber. forgot to say the engine has only done about 600k since it was rebuilt, so is still running in. it runs fine from col...

Re: Above or Below?
Thanks Mike,
After reading the other thread, that's exactly what I intend on doing.
That way I get the carpet protected from wear and also keep out any water by sealing the unused holes.
Cheers

Above or Below?
Merry Christmas all.
I'm about to fit the front seats to my traveller and am wondering about the metal plates that sit under the seat clamps.
Do they go above or below the carpet?
Cheers
