Thanks for the tips so far- I've now polarised the dynamo but it hasn't made any difference. I've tested the armature circuit on the dynamo and am getting 1.5v when I rev quite hard. Hi All, I had a problem with the ignition warning light coming on on my 1970 1098 van, so after some faffing I replaced the dynamo, to no avail.
