Re: Saftek Brake Shoes
Yes, I fitted some when I changed my front brakes to Riley 1.5 nine-inch drums. They do work well enough but the effect isn't as dramatic as I'd hoped. Re: Ethanol protection for the original Valvemaster Plus?
Thanks for the reply, can I check, do you mean Castrol branded Valvemaster Plus, or Classic branded Valvemaster Plus (or both?). It's Castrol Valvemaster Plus, bought a number of years ago for use in a previously-owned car, still on the shelf in the garage and tried on the Moggy in a 'what could po...

For some years now I've been successfully using, with no detrimental effects, Valvemaster Plus together with this:- https://www.frost.co.uk/ethomix-corrosion-inhibitor-additive-ethanol-protection/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw8J6wBhDXARIsAPo7QA_b3fDJtlMeWd2-dR9PdKjwlQHPbeLdDOiscCxMS8iXUn-d-tIgt3ca...

Hi Tom, when it comes to this fairly contentious subject you could do a lot worse than check out the following website and perhaps phone him for a bit of guidance too:-

[quote I then bought an LED hand help inspection lamp made by Ring which has a magnet on the back too. It’s rechargeable but it cannot be used when plugged in and charging. My jobs usually take far longer than planned so I need a lamp that can be used connected to the mains. It is not unusual for me...

True enough Chief, however, to quote Stuffedpike20 again, "Maybe if we posted interesting topics, more people would use the forum?" But who decides if topics are interesting or not and does a 'word association' thread qualify? I think we need to be told.
