Re: Paint codes & bodywork / trim colours
If it has been converted to a pick-up, it is likely that it was re-sprayed - possibly even a different colour to the original.... and I am sure you have checked whether the interior is a different shade to the exterior (in case only the exterior was sprayed). But if it is the same shade of green in...

Re: Paint codes & bodywork / trim colours
Hi all I'm hoping someone here could help me. I have a 1971 van that's been converted to a pick up. I want to do some touch ups, but can't work out the colour. I assumed it was Almond Green but the sample is well out. Any suggestions appreciated. Screenshot_20210308-163733.png Screenshot_20210308-16...

Re: Alexa in a Morris!
Hi Haven't been on for a while and meant to thank andymoor94 for the great idea. I did mine slightly differently because I'm cheap lol. I stole my daughters Bluetooth speaker and stuck it in the glove box and connected it to my phone. The battery life is something like 36 hours and I just pair it wh...

Re: Regular engine runs during winter storage?
Hi
I tend to do the same as morrisjohn and have been for years. It doesn't get to cold London typically so every other week or so (or probably a bit longer if I'm beening honest) I take it for good run as well.
Will definitely try the fuel stabiliser in the future though good idea that!

Re: Hello from croydon
As I'm here does anyone have any advice on changing the steering wheel. I did a search and I can see I need to get a 33mm socket but any more advice or opinions welcome. I'm not wed to it but, my wife got me a wooden gear knob and I was thinking of changing the steering wheel to wood and getting a 1...

But when you get up close you can see the welding line. The line is more of a valley so if the weather holds ill fill and sand.

Re: Hello from croydon
So the flat-bed of the pickup is wider than standard. In order to put back to standard I would have to cut out the super strong bed and anchor points. To save the work and the cost we came up with a plan to widen the tail gate, which has turned out pretty well. Screenshot_20201109-191443.png Screens...

Mangaged to get a tailgate finally. Not in great condition but some filler and hammerite I hope will fix that.
Needed a blow torch to get the bolts out.
