They’ll be very good with the SW5 cam in a 1000cc engine, BUT is the SW5 FIA compliant?

It would be difficult to do with the Ford calipers, I doubt that the brake hose would reach without some serious stretching being evident.

Re: Seven leaf or five leaf springs?

Out of interest has anyone here ever had leaf springs restored/retempered? Sounds like it may be more expensive than simply replacing them with new ones? Chris There have been posts here questioning the quality of springs available from the usual suppliers. Having yours restored may cost more but c...

People are obsessed with privacy these days. Just look at how few people use their real name on this forum. Why would that be?

As John says, my van has a 1408 speedo and a 3.9 diff, at 35 it shows 30 and at 70 it shows 60.

Don't knock it too much Blaketon, surely there's a good makeup on a 6.5kg Di2 bike :D

With regards to the Royal Family, the rot set in when Harry used an electric E-Type when he left church.

BMH had no record of my '71 LCV when I asked :(

These are arguably the best that you can buy, certainly not cheap though. I wouldn't expect to replace them in my lifetime. https://www.rossroadsprings.co.uk

Re: Which Tracker SIM Card ???

Did this for a friend of mine, we used a giffgaff sim, it’s a 2/3/4g sim and we set the tracker to use the 2g aspect of it. So you’ll need to get the settings for the tracker as you’ve already established that the sim works in 2g.

Are we confused here between cruelty to pets or vermin? Foxes aren't pets. Do you keep one as a pet?
I don't keep a dog or fox as a pet, but I wouldn't be cruel to either of them, equally, I wouldn't have an issue with either being destroyed (if necessary) in a humane manner.

Re: Disgusting behavour by Jeremy Clarkson

The only way around that is to say it’s not cruel, which they hope will hide their true character. I suppose we then have to ask this question, 'what animals are we happy to be cruel to?' Ants, flies, wasps, mice, fish, rabbits, cats, dogs. It often seems that we get more concerned about animals as...
