Rear Crank oil seal or gearbox oil seal ( mod ) or scoll and housing leaking oil .... And flicking it all over the Bell housing and also into the starter motor engagement Pinion.... Try taking out starter and washing the pinion in petrol...... When dry just bolt it back in.....Do not oil the shaft i...

Once your at a high level TIG welding is a lot faster... and easier to clean up..... but more Prep is needed..... my work now is about 45 MIG 40 TIG 15 Gas.

You will not look back... You can buy a nice DC TIG from R- Tech Welding in Gloucester... I have been up there and met the lads and the customer service is brilliant.... It’s like a microform of gas welding but with electricity and argon gas, and you need good eyesight..... and a steady hand. Pop do...

Dry building a engine is always a good idea to assess the work that’s needed.
Moving parts around on a NEW build could help you .
You are looking for all 4 pistons at the correct deck height.

Arrrr..😉 That flap .... when l restored the C.post l made it a lot longer than it was needed.... But what I didn’t do was add this flap . So l will do this and shorten the Post a wee bit. So that flap Spot welds to the inner rear panel for extra strength for the quarter panel. Thank you Les.... spot...

Disconnect the brake light wires from that switch and hold them together will see if the brake lights work. I promise you won’t get electrocuted .
Or check continuity on the bulb.
And just generally check connections.
Brake light switches are poor nowadays.
