Re: 1959 Morris in upstate New York

You have an interesting project on this thread. The rims on this car remind me of the American Racing wheels Ansen model. It will be a long way to go before you can finish it, good luck. 8)

Re: Planning pick up restoration

Well worth every penny you send restoring a pickup, Did mine a few years back, 2009 and as a second car it's perfect. Alice lives in a garage, starts first time, even if she hasn't run for a few days, she's economic, and as she has the original 1098cc engine, she's tax free as a historic vehicle, c...

Re: Spotted today.

Not so much today, as last Thursday afternoon on the A52 in Nottinghamshire. Took me until today to get the image off my dashcam. Nice shiny looking green van; I only got a couple of seconds to spot it, as it was going the opposite direction. No sign of post '63 front lights that I can tell, so per...

Usually the Dorset Branch are there but I didn't see them on this occasion. It was still a good event and I didn't come away empty-handed.

I was on the London knowledge at the time, and trying to absorb all the street names and places of interest. As for purchasing a 'Town Coke' from 'Locks'. A snip at nearly 500 quid.😨 Phew. Blimey!! :o Nice bit of history but I'm glad to say mine didn't cost anything like that: https://www.ebay.co.u...
