seat restoration
Morning all
Hope you can help with this I have reupholstered the front seats in Meggie and cleaned the covers which are PVC but they are quite dull and I am struggling to get any sort of shine back into them. I have tried Mothers cleaner and various polishes but to no avail.

Hi
Thanks for the reply and offer of help but I have managed to get them done at a Timpsons shoe repair shop by a gent who was very interested and happy to have the challenge for something different. So far it is all holding and looking good

Re: Font valence
I think I may have a answer it has been pointed out that as the car is on axle stands at present it may that the body has twisted slightly due to the stands not being in the same position, I am hoping to get the wheels back on this weekend and will then be able to check π€ As for your valence Bill al...

Re: Font valence
Hi Simmitc
I have had a better look at it today as well as taking it back off and the only thing I can see is the O/S bumper stud appears to lower.
The valence was fine before the respray and the only change is the front cross member was replaced.

Bonnet handle
Hi all
Can anyone help with the thread side of the fixing stud on the bonnet handle ?
The nut I have fits but is loose, I have tried a 2BA and a M5 but neither of these fits, I believe it is a original handle and am assuming at the moment that it will be a imperial thread.thanks in advance

Thank you all for the replys she is going in for a respray next week and will not be back untill the end of January, but as soon as I have her back and have bolted all the panels back on weather conditions permitting she will be out and about and I will be keeping a close eye on this.

Re: track rod end failure
All rectified now after pumping a lot of grease into the ball joint the looseness has gone but still have the advisorie on the MOT.
I am more cross with myself as I did a grease up on the about 3 months prior but obviously never put enough in. Another learning curve.
