tyres 145 R14
After doing some research 145/80r14 tyres seem to now be readly available. As well as MSM Morris Minors I found a company "The Blockley Tyre Company" and "North Hants Tyres" have them in stock, however add on Postage and fitting and the price goes up. I got mine from "Blackc...

Re: Boot Lid not fitting
There are two types of seals, a rubber seal that fits in the lip on the body which seals around the inside of the boot lip and a later type seal which is a sponge like material which sticks to the boot lid by the lip and seals around the lip on the body. You have the rubber seal which is probably h...

Re: Boot Lid not fitting
What year is the car? There have been a few changes over the years, but mainly cosmetic or with the stay. The usual reason for a poor fit is poor alignment of panels during a previous restoration. There should be a lip right round the opening on the body. Is yours present? They sometimes rust away,...

It has been replaced in its time but there does not seem to be any adjustment. The rubber I got from ESM seems to make it worse. Were there differant ...

Unfortunately not. It is well used and with the old type screw to terminal fitting.

Re: Interior courtesy light
Thanks for all your advice. I have removed the light and fitted an LED. The wiring seems OK so maybe just needs a bit of a clean. However the cover is broken and I would like to replace it. So this brings us back to does a Classic Mini one fit.

Morris Minor Owners Club Technical Manual Second Edition
I joined the club over 30 years ago when I owned a 1963 Traveler. There was no internet then and I brought through the club a “Morris Minor Owners Club Technical Manual Second Edition”. It is dated 1998. I still have this and it is full of useful information. Is this still available in any form? May...

Interior courtesy light
Having just brought a Morris Minor Saloon 1971 the only thing bugging me is the interior light. It does not work, but occasionally when I hit a bump it flickers on. I am looking at replacing it, but they just don’t seem to be available. Is there a good alternative? I am not fussed about originality ...
