From personal experience. Three years ago our '71 traveller was hit hard and fast by a Mercedes from behind and pushed into the car infront. Qualcast - short for quality castings was a foundry first, who later went on to produce lawnmowers from its own castings. I have often found their name cast into other vintage machinery for which they provided the castings. A bit more history can be found on http://www.youandyesterday.co.uk/articles...
