I'm 19, getting a driving licence might be an idea by now.....

Hi all,

Anyone gone on or planning to go on the Mongol Rally in a Minor, or am I risking a lynch mob for suggesting that anyone whould wish to put their moggy on a Hyde Park to capital-of-mongolia run?

Any opinions/ comments folks!

Not a member yet, but my mother has been for donkeys years - she has a 1963 Minor which she refuses to allow me to begin restoring.

Agh, thats what I'm about to start welding up on mine - the inner sill on both sides for most of the length of the front doors.

Replaced mine a few days ago. One piece of advice on doing so. Don't follow the Haynes manual instructions for refitting the rear screen from the inside using the string method - if your moggy is one of the younger ones (eg 1968 ish) it is far easier to fit from the outside, and contrary to the manu...
