Windscreens
ok I am sure that this has been asked before?
But what is the best sealant to use around fairly newish front windscreen rubbers that fit but not tight enough so ending up with a little puddle of water in the foot well when it rains all rather boring!
Thanks in advance for your ideas

So its down to the wires on the old one which goes to which on the slip ring... be good to sort out the old one for a spare. I hear wh...

Re: Alternator Slip Ring Lucas ACR type

Alternator Slip Ring Lucas ACR type
Thank you for all your advice. MY orginal probelm was an alternator that intemitantly worked. On opening it up I found that the bushes were worn and the slip ring was in poor order after 4 years of use and less than 20k miles this was not good. So I ordered up a repair kit from BB classics Read on t...

What Tools?
Hello Everyone,
we are heading to the South of France camping in a few weeks time in our Traveller and it looks like we will be covering 1,500 miles over the space of 2.5 weeks and we wondered what tools we should take with us?
Any other advice would be useful.
Many thanks

Poly Bushes
I am sure there is plenty written here about all of this. We have two Travellers a 1965 and a 1968 and a 1969 Austin badged van. Over the last few years we have replaced the bushes from rubber to Poly ones from ESM. The van seems happy with them. But the 1965 Traveller has moaned and groaned on the ...

Re: Coils
'The coil is mounted horizontally on a bracket made for Dorset MMOC on top of the alternator.' oh dear these cost me quids and just put one on either my van or another Traveller, (can't recall which as van in paint shop) interestingly we had no problems with it when it was mounted on the inner wing ...

Coils
We have a 1098 traveller with alternator conversion and Acuspark electronic ignition. The coil is mounted horizontally on a bracket made for Dorset MMOC on top of the alternator. Recently I had coil failure measured the ohm and less than 1 this is no good for electronic ignition. so fitted a one fro...
