Re: Battery conditioners

I bought a Maplins charger a couple of years ago on the recommendation of Mr Mc Ecosse- it lasted just over a year.......

I was wondering what peoples experiences were of the 'conditioning' as opposed to the 'charging'. Do they revive ailing batteries / keep them alive longer??

I believe original numbers that are retained through the V765 scheme are non transferable.

Don't want to seem like a holly pedant, but Silver King is a synonym of Silver Queen, which is male. :o

Re: Our 1st Moggy. 1956 Split Screen. WSL 230

I have asked for a full refund or £750 in compensation, which nearly covers half of the £1620 welding costs. I feel that this is a fair and reasonable offer, so the choice is theirs. Option 1 or option 2. As I am entitled to a full refund, I am quite happy to go down this route if they do not agree...

I hope it is an agreed value policy......

The hole in the side of the gearbox should be filled with a grommet. Available from ESM etc etc

Oil leak on engine probably from side cover. New gasket should help :D
