Chas Wright Numberplate?

Hi all, I'm in the process or restoring my front number plate as I didn't want to just get a new one when the original is still solid. On sanding down the bottom of the plate, there is a stamp with "Chas Wright Ltd." Does anyone know if this was a dealer or perhaps a number plate supplier?...

Re: Parts Supplier - Not Happy!

Thanks for the replies. I would expect a bit of fettling of course - you get that even on modern car parts. But after alot of fettling and the finish to still be poor and it not line up...? I know its a widespread issue but when I'm told by the supplier that they are made on a mould from exact origi...

Re: Parts Supplier - Not Happy!

Here's a photo of the poor seam. Its completely smooth on the original. It's now been neatly welded and filled.
I know original parts are far more superior but at over £100 a pop![frame]Image[/frame]

Parts Supplier - Not Happy!

Hi, I dont normally like to 'moan' about suppliers but I can't stand poor customer service and wanted to share with others. I bought 4 new wings (pattern) along with the necessary bolts etc from a supplier and had them sent straight to the bodyshop who are respraying by car. Firstly the seam on the ...

Re: HOW SAFE ARE WE?

Just to add to the note on rear passengers, I saw a Fiat 500 on the back of a truck the other day. It had clearly been rear ended but something a little larger (X5/Range rover size) and the rear headrests were actually sticking out of the rear window. This also applies to a people carrier with reall...

Re: WHEELER DEALERS

It's like Top Gear. People criticise it for being a crap car show...it's not, it's an entertainment show now, not like the old version. Wheeler Dealers is fantastic to WATCH, and although they may do the whole job, they skim over what are actually larger jobs for the most of us and they miss smaller...

On the Minor, give Confused.com or other compare sites a shot. I had huge savings but not everyone does. Always worth a shot but you don't get as personal and great service as FJ with Dave ;)

How strange, this car is/was actually about 2 minutes from where I live - I've seen it around many times and I think I spoke to the owners daughter about it once.

Re: Young owners at the National

It was a fantastic national both for the club side and especially camping with the other young members. I was at the Harewood house rally and was lucky enough to have my car on the stand. I didn't camp with the guys but the stand was awesome ;). First year camping but it's Truely a great club to be ...
