Re: Invite: Classic Vehicle Day at The Shuttleworth Collection.

I'm not on here much but would like to join in, if that's OK... assuming CC makes it up from Devon OK! I made it to Bletchley Park last year but had to have an assisted exit!!! Would it be OK to have an MGB GT & E-Type join the crowd? We'd like to make it a family classic day out! Assuming this ...

Re: Nothing in Devon or Cornwall

I've not seen anything. Didn't see anything on the Branch Rally last summer either until after it had happened!

You'll be fine. I had the same thoughts ... currently trying to fix 2 minor problems ... the more little tinkering you do the less worried you get!!!

Mine are like that too ... I had some clip on ones before but they kept moving around too much. These ones work just fine :D

Re: Off side indicators not working ... help!

I had a little fiddle with this at the weekend ... the miles are working, its just the indicator needle isn't moving ... and yes, I was definitely driving along! I got a new wire to earth the indicator light, sadly and for some unknown reason this did not work, the rusty screw may have something to ...

Re: Spotted today.

I saw two in Exeter yesterday before getting home to find mine surprise delivered! (making 3). There was an old english white traveller parked outside fitness first in Exeter and a rose taupe (or similar) convertible parked around the St Thomas area of Exeter (I think). I don't usually see any, so i...

Re: Off side indicators not working ... help!

Hi there, after much more fiddling I've established its an earth problem - when holding a wire to the bulb holder and and earth point inside the engine bay the indicator works fine. There's been quite a bit of remedial work done around where the indicator sits - I'm getting no earth from around this...

Off side indicators not working ... help!

Hi there, My dad very kindly returned my moggie to me last night after storing her in his garage for a few months ... the indicators were working on the 200 mile journey here (or at least some of it), but when I took her out yesterday evening they were not. I have had a little fiddle this morning - ...

I don't see why not, mine happily does 70 up and down the motorway in the uk. She's a 1965 minor which has upgraded brakes but a standard engine.

I'm day tripping it on Saturday and Sunday. Is there any timings anywhere with what's on during the day on both days - I wouldn't want to miss anything exciting!
