How about a 1.8 20 vt be engine..small and compact and pack a punch...

I spoke to the person needs total resto...no paperwork either,the head has been lost,along with various other parts,'taken apart yrs ago...

It's an original 49 tourer,with original no plate as she left the factory,she is most definately not a converted saloon...I have also been advised to get a heritage certificate from gaydon,so am awaiting that also. She may look untidy but for a 49 morris I would say she is better than most 70 s morr...

hi dave yes i removed the rear wings etc etc and sprayed the car in my garage and bought new wing beading...was a right pita to fit as the body/wheelbase is slightly longer to give the car more of an authentic coupe look...
