thanks for that, its a 1098 system. But im still unsure of what makes the ing light(Ignition light) stop comming on. Its a dynamo car. I suspect the previouse restor has used any part he can get, as car parts are really expensive here, except from one suppler but apparently hes a bit iffy on the qua...

Okay, sorry if you’ve heard enough of my wngine problems but its really frustrating me!. Okay, so the car seemed a goon runner, starting third time of 9 year old petrol. Sorry, im hijacking this thread for a moment :p So, i went to check if it was the fuel pump. To my joy it was!, allthough i can now smell petrol, no spark. I traced this down to a burnt HT lead going from the coil. No problem, i went to my shelf pull out my leads distro etc planning to replace... gu...

Okay, had anoter go at starting it. No more look. Did a test on the sparkplugs by taking one out then conecting it to the HT so i could see if it sparked. No luck, no spark. Hey, i bought my minor as a car to resore with not much info. SOme informaion idid get is that its had a new engine for unleaded, not sure what engine though. Its definatly an a seres with the almond green rockers. theres a plate on he engine with some numbers on it. Could this be the answer?
