Not too bad for out in the "sticks" but I've always thought this test to be a bit generous with the reults compared to others?

Have you thought of a trip to the nearest tyre fitting establishment and asking them if they'll have a go with their windy gun? There's no need to remove but just slacken then nip by hand so you can remove at home? The car will be up on a lift then and access will be easier too. Even if they charge ...

I agree, keep it a "T" for the novelty value alone. Plus that is the registration post army which the vehicle was given. It IS an historic vehicle and was registered as such when I had it taxed at "0". The information I received was that it indeed was used abroad by the army then...

This is an ex military (army) Traveller used abroad, hence the (Bedouin) beige colour. Autumn Leaf interior. If the present owner is saying he bought it at auction in 1995 then I would treat that with caution. It is an "historic vehicle"and as such qualifies for "0" VED. I owned ...

the one's I've noticed have all been nominated by committee members. Sadly this gives the impression of 'ivory towers' And unfortunately it's this sort of thing that isn't helping to attract or keep members. Exactly why I have not renewed my MMOC membership after many loyal years. The MMOC comes ac...

Front hub outer - RHP 11/MJT17
inner - RHP 34/6JT25

Rear hub - RHP 6207C3

As far as I know and from the dim distant past RHP = Ransome, Hoffmann, Pollard. (sp?)

Can't help with seals unfortunately.

I and others on the message board purchased a copy of the manual on cd through ebay some time ago. It wasn't expensive but can't remember whether the seller posted to other than UK. Don't know if they're still around? Found it very useful in that you can print out the page(s) required without using ...

I can't give a definitive answer about the sizes unfortunately. However, a few years ago I replaced the existing 7/8" MC on my saloon with a 13/16" MC. I don't recall there being a difference with the banjo bolt, I'm sure I just re-used the original. My memory could be wrong though! It get...

There was a set (left and right hand thread) of 15 thou undersize dies (or is that dice?) on ebay a few months ago, marked with correct BMC part number, the seller advised they were Draper. I nearly bid for them, no one else did. The reason I didn't was because after checking with some suppliers it ...

If this is the information you need try -
http://www.ukcar.com/features/area.htm

The last two letters determine the original registration town/city/county.
So (B)HC would be Brighton. etc.

3/32" x 1" long. Foreign equivalent might be o.k. but could be a bit loose in the hole. Maybe buy longer as they can always be shortened or as has been suggested obtain an assortment, always useful to have.

The locking caps I've used in the past have all had an adaptor secured to the original neck and it's just been necessary to remove the adaptor to revert to original. The adaptors have been secured in place by some form of grub screw arrangement.

the easiest way to top up the rear axle is to get one of the squeezy type of filler bottles witha nozzle on it EP 90 is fine. Standing the container in hot water for a few minutes also helps when doing this by thinning the oil a bit. Use a bit of grease or similar to retain the g/box filler/level p...
