These components are listed in the mechanical parts list pg MN6 and illustrated on plate N5... There is a steel plate, rubber gasket and two screws nuts and washers...from memory these are 3/16 UNF phillips (items 32-36) As stated the gearbox oil filler hole (listed in the body parts list) has a clo...

I would take them off, clean and refurbish them on the bench.....

The Morris Motors Ltd Timber drawings are also invaluable...

You get all the dimensions and assembly close up details and screw, sealant and nail types and sizes

The holes are for micro adjustment of the ride height (vernier adjustment they call it)

Main adjustment is by moving around the arm on the splines after safely relieving the tension.....its all in the manual......including a suggested initial setting

Do you have uneven ride height?

I just use a small piece of old innertube cut to size...these are often missing and fits under item 33

The air is drawn from holes right next to the wheel arches then through the bulkhead box section so its not drawing from the engine bay...

I just bought a NOS clutch kit for my traveller..Been looking for a while as the modern (non asbestos) ones are not very good quality Clutch Kit.JPG I suspect it is 1960s stock looking at the packaging.. Borg and beck then very good quality... You lot can leave the old stock stuff for me! Thanks! Ta...
