Re: Beading trim

If stapling I recommend using corrosion resistant 'monel metal'staples in your staple gun...these are cupro nickel.

Im fairly sure the trims were stapled at the Morris factory..

Re: Rear Spring Hanger Cover Plate

Yes Rob Get your name cut into the side in case you lend it out and theres a query over who owns it! Are you using Ground Stock for the flat bars? The key thing with the jig is to be very careful when welding it to keep it all square and in alignment, I also used bronze where the pins are fitted so ...

Re: Rear Spring Hanger Cover Plate

This is where they go Hi Trial fitted the rear wing tonight... after a bit of jiggling around it seems to fit quite well so Im doing some lining up using the timber and rear floor before doing any welding... http://i618.photobucket.com/albums/tt265/velocette_album/Traveller/rearwheelarch002_zps683fe...

Re: Rear Spring Hanger Cover Plate

Hi you should fit the shipping bracket to the outside, you can cut off the eye part if you are worried about a rust trap...

Part No: RP128(A)
Description:

Re: Phasing out petrol and diesel vehicles

There is no suggestion at present to stop the use of existing petrol or diesel etc vehicles being used on the roads... the proposed ban only applies to new vehicles built/sold in 2040 and also does not ban hybrid vehicles at present. As all Morris minors have already been made it seems to me they wi...

Above is good advice.. Is that the point above the centreline of the rear axle? in which case once you have repaired the floor panel you will need to replace the bump stop plate which goes underneath: http://www.morrisminorspares.com/body-inc-panels-trim-c21/panels-c31/rear-bump-stop-bracket-top-lmc...

That said, there was no specific type of wing mirror for the Minor anyway, so maybe shop around for some that suit your needs. Ive often seen this stated, however section BH5.1 5.2 & 5.3 of the body parts book AKD3542 shows the various types of wing mirrors that could be fitted......Arm assembly 37...

Hi

Seems to me that when you clicked 'continue' on the second screen you authorised DVLA to check your MOT status.

If they were not happy with your MOT status they would not have processed your application.
