yeah they have metal float or solid plastic float stop it compressing under boost. remember the turbo carb is not just about the float... its the sealing and ability to stop the boost leaking or spraying petrol over your hot engine you really need the turbo carb and boost controlled pressure regulat...

Yes i used the regulator from the metro turbo with a return to tank and worked well I am confident that the carb will work i would start looking for a turbo one now, as you will only end up with petrol vapor in the engine bay or leaning out under boost and poping a hole in a piston or valve damage.[...

Hi going on my testing you will prob need to swap for a proper turbo carb, as things like a solid float are important as the normal plastic or metal one will deform under boost, you probably find that she leans out badly under boost if you dont use a sealed carb I would have a search for a metro tur...

I looked into autoboxing a minor very hard after my knee got smashed up. I drove 4 auto cars when deciding what to do with emily... the first a marina 1275 with bw35 box was awfull, appauling gear ratios and it was impossible to pull off into trafic safely, owner compained bitterly that regardless o...

back plate is differnent on auto's but remember the bw35 box in an marina is truly awfull and very very hard to fit in a minor due to the size ( it was the box in the trumph 2000) If you are going to do an auto minor forget the marina and go for an ital auto , with 1275 a+ and bw65 box.. later dolom...
