Re: Scuttle panels (interior trim)

Hi all,I have this morning fitted some interior scuttle panels in the front footwells, however the flap of material is overlapping quite considerably, have I done this correctly? It doesn’t look like it if I am honest with myself!

Thank you,

Paul.

One brake light out, but it’s not the bulb...

Hi all, I have one brake light out on Snowdrop ❄️💧, but it’s not the bulb as I have checked this... Is there anything else that might affect just one brake light? All other lights are fine. Also are there any elegant solutions for additional brake lights out there?

Many thanks,

Paul.

Indicator problem

Hello all, I have an issue with my left hand indicators (1098) - the left hand lights flicker too fast when they headlamps/sidelights are off, but the correct speed when the headlamps are off; also the front indicator is very dim (in fact I think the sidelight rather than the indicator bulb is flash...

Not turning over, no lights, nothing

Went to try Snowdrop this afternoon and nothing doing - engine won't turn over, no wipers, no lights, nothing. Battery seems fine, connections from the battery have been cleaned...any ideas? In laymen's terms please

Cheers,

Paul.

Radiator Drain Tap Trouble

Hi All, Any advice greatly appreciated on this one - I removed the drain tap on the back of my radiator ('67 1098) to replace the coolant, but...I can't get it back on again! My initial diagnosis is that the thread is too corroded to be able to get back in (you can just make this out in the picture)...

Re: Spotted today.

My 4 year-old daughter spotted a Morris Minor today (White Traveller, Wendover) and shouted with glee "That's a Morris Minor!", apparently making the owner's day (he was tinkering under the bonnet at the time) :D

Re: Drive It Day

Thanks all for the info, I'm in the Bucks area so was hoping for something a bit closer to home (I probably should have said that in the first place!) but thanks for sharing and hopefully the thread will have helped others.

Cheers,

Paul.

Hi,

Are there any Minor-related plans for Drive It Day out there at the moment?

Very helpful, and it's saved me a few quid as I already have an unopened OEW aerosol from Tom Roy

Old English White

Hi, does anyone know if Rover Old English White is any relation to Morris Minor Old English White? Is the same shade, or at least sufficiently similar for me to get away with the odd stone-chip touch up?!

Re: Nuffield Place Sunday 2nd October

This was a great day, many thanks to those involved in the organisation.

A great touch was the cafe - I bet I won't be able to get a round of drinks and cakes for £2.40 when the National Trust take over the catering! :D

John Lewis magazine

Nice to see a 1/4 page plug for the Midland Regional Rally at Chatsworth in the John Lewis in-store magazine as part of its British Heritage special! Nice picture of a white convertible on page 10. Mag is free in store (or at least I hope it is as I picked one up without paying!), so would reach a m...

Yes it was probably me in the Woods and in Wendover, I took my daughter for drive up to the woods and then popped into Wendover for a bottle of wine :-)
