Well I've had a bit of good luck. My daughter's driving instructor has offered to help me finish the Midget. Well why is that good I hear you ask? He was a professional paint sprayer for 21 years so I'm hoping to learn a bit from him. I just found out that I'd mixed the base coat wrong, I wasn't sup...
Spray gun
Hi there!
Can anyone recommend a good gravity feed spray gun? I find mine fiddly to control and it seems to get clogged easily.
Maybe it's just me though!
Thanks for any advice.

Thanks for that! Yes I was warned and I'm going to stay away from Hellfrauds from now on. Thanks for that link Nigel, I already have multimeter. It was reading 12V but the starter motor got stuck. I have a new starter motor ready to fit. Does anyone know how to read the amp level as I didn't seem ab...

The battery only gives you a few attempts at starting then it's kaput! When you charge it it acts weird as well. The charging lights normally g...

Halfords Battery Problem - beware!
Hi everyone! I recently bought a battery from Halfords and it doesn't hold it's charge for long so I'm always having to charge it in the house. It's such a nuisance. I thought I had better warn all forum members as they refused to give me a replacement. It was guaranteed 3 years and I bought it last...

Starter motor
Hi everyone!
Does anyone know if a Morris Minor starter motor is the same as an Austin A30 one? I need a new one as the old one keeps sticking.
Thanks for any advice!

Yes you're absolutely right. I'm going to keep the baby Austin and I'm not doing any more at home. I have only painted and sold one car so hopefully I won't get banged up in Durham jail or anything. Thanks for the warning - my car painting days are over now. It would have been great to do this as a ...
