Re: What are all the switches?

You are correct about the switches in your first two pictures. The second two must be later additions. Has the car got any of the following added? - Hazard warning/4-way flasher system - Rear windscreen de-mister/de-fogger - Front or rear fog lamps - Manually-switched reversing/back-up lamp If any a...

Re: Parcel shelf

Did 'standard' Travellers have a rubber floor covering in the front footwells instead of carpet? Quite possibly that was earlier. Just thought I'd throw it into the mix 😊

What is the difference between standard and de luxe trim? I had assumed all 62-64 Minors were duotone.
As stated above. Duo-tone seats and door cards if 'Deluxe' trim. Single-tone if 'Standard' trim.

The interior may be duo-tone (light blue with silver-beige) or single tone (light blue).

Re: Saloon Wing Beading

Difficult to tell without a link to the eBay beading. Personally, provided it's a colour which they stock, I'd use correct-colour beading from ESM or Charles Ware etc.

NOT A PROBLEM BUT A POSITIVE - SMILEYS

Someone, somewhere on the Forum recently mentioned that it would be good to have additional Emojis/Smileys (call them what you will) to add to forum posts, in addition to the 14 currently available. This morning, by accident, I've found that Forum messages now recognise the Emojis that come with my ...

Re: Advice needed

I've had two smokey 1275 Marinas. Both a long time ago. One was a '72 with 80,000 on the clock. That one was a rings problem. Ran great most of the time but occasionally died on me and then would turn over very fast on the starter as if there was no compression. Leave it fifteen minutes and all fine...

Since I posted about an hour ago, that user's active listings has shrunk from 640 to 11 but I suspect he/she is using a bulk listing tool so they'll probably all be back by midnight :(

Re: eBay Scammers

Having just looked at eBay, I count 3 Minors listed by 'maxwellboating', including 2 very nice vans. All start at £3000 bidding. No reserve with a Buy It Now price of £5250 each. None of the listings have any vehicle details. Each just say 'Contact Cara direct at (email address). She will tell you w...

Re: Learning to drive in a Morris Minor.

Took my first test in my own Mk.1 Mini with sliding door windows which wouldn't lock. Very wet day. Windows slid open during the emergency stop, and the examiners clipboard got soaked. Needless to say, I failed!

Re: Spotted today.

A couple of spots from yesterday's monthly meet at the Old Waggon & Horses near Kidderminster.

The green 2-door is a local car with 43,000 on the clock. It's for sale at £5,500 but no phone number on the advert! Couldn't find the owner either.

Re: Sunday outage

I thought it was just me too. As with all things web-based, if it's not working there's often no way of finding out what's happening. Even an 'error404' message would have been useful. If it was an unplanned outage/server failure I suppose it's understandable. If it was a planned/maintenance outage,...
