Asthere was not a lot going on and the weather was not good. i decided to listen to Mary. She is always complaining that I do not take her out, so today i decided to take her out.


I took her out ................................. OF THE COUNTRY.


Took her to Calais for dinner.
Anybody beat that?

When I took my lessons, they were £1.25 per hr. therefore 10 hrs was £12.50. my weekly wage.
The rate is now arounr £20-25 per hour. 10 hrs is £200-250.
Guess what the wages are now?

I agree a sort of "Chertsy Concours" (pls forgive my spelling) would be fun to run alongside the main event each year.. we went to a "chertsey concours" with the trav a couple of years ago. the prizes were awarded for:- most putty on exhaust most confused morris (which we won) worst wood most greene...

needle nose pliers to hold the pin to start with, then a drift to knock it home and a bit of wood to roll the gutter over when finishing
