Re: Wider car parking spaces

After a lot of correspondence between our club and cirencester council they grudgingly waived the fine but with bad grace and they said if we ever did it again the fine would stand. I have never been back to Cirencester.

Re: MOTOR CAR JOKES - ADD YOURS

A lady is driving her car along the road when it sputters to a halt. She phones the garage and after a few minutes the mechanic has the car running smoothly. What was the trouble the lady asked so that if it happens again I can fix it myself. Oh just sh-t in the carburettor the mechanic says. Oh dea...

Re: Petrol everywhere

Have now fitted the new float and everything seems of be working correctly. The kit came with a new needle valve and seating but how do you get the seating out of the body, it is screwed into the float body but it is so tight to the sides that I can't get a spanner to fit, it seems to need a very th...

Re: Petrol everywhere

Thank you for your help and advice. Thought the float shouldn't have any liquid in it so have taken your advice and ordered the Whole hog service kit from the Sucarb Co. apparently these floats do not leak as they are made to military specification.

Re: Wider car parking spaces

No bother with a pre war Austin Seven or my Panda. I remember some years ago going on an Austin Seven club holiday to the Cotswolds about 10 cars took place. We went to a council car park in Cirencester which only had a few spaces left but we managed to get two Austin Sevens in one bay inside the de...

Lets hope I have better luck with the custard this time as the last time I made it it was very lumpy but I retrieved the situation by straining it through one of my socks a clean one I might add I'm very mindful of hygiene.
