Balancing and Tuning

Could anyone out there help me with this issue.... I have a bit on an issue whenever I touch an SU Carb. I seem to have de-tuned the one on my saloon and the pair on my Spitfire. What's annoying is that, if I've understood the bits I've read on line, the only bits that you can adjust are the mixture...

I have to agree with Rog, it was great... such a good show it delayed our departure by half an hour as I couldn't pull the boys away.....

Funtastic.....

Re: National Rally update

We had a wonderful time, left at 14:30, after Punch and Judy, got home around 6 after a diversion off the M62. Defiantly something we'd do again but with a trailer tent, can't believe that it took us as long to erect the tent and pump up beds as it did to drive there..... It was great meeting you al...

Re: pickup restoration project

David, you never fail to make me smile. The level of work, your attention to detail and the speed at which your doing this are amazing. Are you going to the National? could be a good source for some of the bits you need, but it is a bit of a trek from Sussex... Best of luck with the engine, like has...

There is a thread on The conversion on the go. Looks quiet easy, 10 simple steps. You will need a different set of battery leads as the terminals are different sizes.

Re: Dizzy, I'm So Dizzy My Head Is Spinning

Don't pay anything LIKE that money! There are BRAND NEW dizzies available for very much less than that. This one from Simon BBC is the latest type and will fit directly into your engine. At £29 it's a screaming bargain http://www.simonbbc.com/automotiveshop/distributors/4-cylinder-points/45d-points...

Re: Spotted today.

Today I had to drive from Hinckley to Shrewsbury on the A5. During this pleasant journey I saw; firstly, on the way out of Hinkley on the A5, I spotted a garden full of Minors. I think I counted 4 but there could be more. Second, A5 between Cannock and Telford, nice green saloon heading towards Cann...

Re: Morris DVD in Poundland

I never said it was bad, just not a "BBC Production"...... I liked the fact it was Morris Minor heavy, I guess thats why one is on the front cover. Overall I liked it, but then I like hearing the whys, wheres and whens of peoples Minor ownership stories, gives me a chance to tell mine in r...
