And paint striped the number plates , with real paint stripper , not nitro***** .
Etched them and primed and painted them with Matt lacquer, and painstakingly cleaned up each letter and painted them gloss white .

Re: barrie's project

Last week I managed to have a look at the windscreen wiper unit , seems to be in ok condition , I removed the main cover of the gears , removed all the old grease inside it and cleaned the gears up and re greased them , painted the cover .the gears and cables seem to run freely. Re: Clarence 2 door 62 saloon

I fitted my near side flitch by removing the pillers and joining the flitch inside the piller box section . Under the cover panel , as I wasn’t keen on fully removing the main door piller . Instead I used a repair section on the main piller at the bottom . There is always ways around thing but it al...

Re: Clarence 2 door 62 saloon

Looks like a great little project you have there , unlike me ,you have plenty of time to work on it , you’ll have it all done before you know it , remember safety first , plenty of measurements and if your unsure always ask and also enjoy yourself learning new skills , good luck in your Morris quest

Wheel size

Iv read the article about wheel sizes but I can’t make sense of it . I’m looking at mini light wheels 13” x5 with a pcd of 101.6mm including 3/8 wheel nuts on eBay . Will these fit my 1956 split screen?
