Hi thanks for the reply it's a 1275 midget engine so I am just going with a midget clutch thanks for clearing up my confusion on this subject

Hi I have read what I can find on the forum but would like clarification on which clutch to fit to the 1275 engine using a 1098 gearbox. The engine has a clutc fitted but I intend to replace this .This clutch measures 2 3/8 from cover to flywheel the other one measures 1 3/4 . The question is what c...

Hi just reading the last sentence of the last post by bmceccose I ordered polybushes for my tie rod and fitted them should I have used a rubber bush ?

Wiring to steering column
I am in the middle of doing a rewire on my van , I have wired up the dash board and the wiring to the steering column but seem to have one spare wire coming from the column ,a black wire does this just go to the body earth , it has got a bullet connector on it

Hi thanks for all your help , the chassis is spotless having only recently painted it so no problem with contamination , I have managed to get the circlip off with right angled circlip pliers and have just finished putting it back together , getting the circlip off is quite a fiddle but doable . Man...

Top hat seal master cylinder
I have just completed a rebuild of the braking system and installed front disc brakes ,but foregot to remove the top hat seal . Is it possible to remove the seal without taking out the master cylinder . Keeping my fingers crossed

Time to fit the cab back on the chassis looked at most of the posts but just a few points 1/. The packer at the rear of the cab I understand is for adjustment and to clear the floor stabilisers , and the rest of the cab is fixed directly to the chassis with no packer between is that correct 2/ The t...

Just been down to my garage yes mine measure about 38 mm there is a plate top and bottom of the springs and this plate measure about 43 mm . This is obviously the problem.To answer bmceccose there were no plate and yes it was fastened directly to the telescopic damper arm . I have never driven this ...

I thought that the rubber pads should fit easily over the springs but these will not fit over them is there two widths of springs ,these are off my van . Yes I am fitting new bump sops

They fit above and below the leaf springs ie. The springs are sandwiched between them
