Re: MMOC CLUB CAR - HELP REQUIRED

Indeed -I was wondering why DOB was required....... :o  Sadly I'm not in a position to be able to help - but if I was - I would be furious to be 'excluded' due to being too young - or too old ! Surely no place for this sort of discrimination in the MMOC Club? No discrimination either way at a...

Re: MMOC CLUB CAR - HELP REQUIRED

Is it only open to young members or can older members with 40 years experience particularly on Series MMs apply? oops, the 'young members' comment was from my post on the young members' page. now edited. all very welcome. particularly those with experience of MMs. it would be super to have you along

MMOC CLUB CAR - HELP REQUIRED

Hi all, As some of you know, the MMOC project car, a 1949 lowlight series MM, is now at the Practical Classics workshop for the magazine to help the club in facilitating its restoration. It would be absolutely fantastic to have as many members involved in the project as possible. The first day that ...

Mini Dampened pulley fouling

Hi all,
I have recently bought a dampened crankshaft pulley on here, and when bolted up, it stops the engine rotating by binding on the timing chest.
am i missing something? I always thought they were a straight swap?
Cheers,
Matt

Re: Moggie Needed for School Prom

Just so as you're aware, though, this is the friday before the biggest weekend rally on the calendar for the club, the national rally. Someone might be able to hep you out on the way up to the rally, though, but dont be too surprised if theres a lack of availability - it's not indicitive of the club!!

Re: Trafficators

mine were filed over on the convertible, but to my surprise were still there, with some 1987 dated newspaper stuffed between the trafficator and the filler -- a clean up and oil and they're wrking beautifully

Clean back the area to shiny metal to get a cleaner/neater/stronger weld. this will not be strong at all, and you're making your life so much harder by not cleaning the area up.

Re: One millionth minor auctioned in Surrey

If he's as scared of driving it as Matt says he is I wouldn't bank on seeing it back on the road any time soon....... Wonder if it was because he hadn't driven a classic before or whether he's now got to justify blowing £25K on it to the missus!! (Good luck with that one !) to be fair,...

Re: One millionth minor auctioned in Surrey

i saw the new owner collecting it at brooklands on sunday and driving it away. I then caught it up in the M25 - hopefully that'll set a precedent that it'll be used. poor old boy looked terrified, though -- i dont think the trafficators were working, even though i was looking for them, making lane c...

Re: the national and other past times

And if you want to stay on after, and explore, how better to do it than in a classic campervan? We're hiring 'little nell' from heritage coast kampers for the rally weekend but returning it Sunday. I believe their website is.still under construction so.the best contact is by phone or through Faceboo...

my brother's traveller, on an old exhaust system, parps like an absolute trooper! even when not under load. none of mine really do it as much as that one. i think it's possibly the baffles worn out?

reported to 101, through to west midlads police following the talk from one of their officers at the FBHVC, it has been filed as an intelligence report. hopefully if this reg turns up on a vehicle in the future, questions will be asked.
