Re: The Moo Engine Re-build
Nice work! Be nice to see how you fitted the new guides.. I can knock them out but getting the new ones drifted in can be very hard without damaging them as ive found the new ones can be very tight to knock in!

Re: Hose clip sizes for top and bottom radiator hoses?
All sorted now thanks Mikemike.perry wrote:I prefer jubilee clip as they do not cut in to the hoses like the wire clips. The clips need to be about 120 - 130 mm circumference. Do not forget the connection for the heater hose.

Re: Hose clip sizes for top and bottom radiator hoses?

You need to realise owners have more then one car Roy and stop assuming things No point in me coming on here ...

This is classed as a dust shield or dust cover.. only designed to keep the dirt out.. its not a gaiter as such ie like a steering rack boot etc..

Re: correct master cylinder?
Hmm - beware the stainless bolts. In general they don't have the correct tensile strength and should not be used in suspension applications... Trailers - may be parked round the back of the Pub 5 miles down the road..... But I'm sure yours will be a Driver. I only use stainless for wing bolt...

Re: correct master cylinder?
Sorry Paul - i'll stopping picking at the concours thing.... I like to see a nicely restored car when it's been done by the owner - and certainly NOT when it's been done by a cheque book.... I just like my car how I...
