only ever use one of the following: shell, esso, Texaco or bp. always have. this includes driving my van, classic or modern Mercedes. I used to be an engineer on BP ships and we used to deliver to shell, esso etc. different dye was put in the tanks before we discharged it ashore and we only carried premium or regular, any other additives were added at the refinery. Same with parafin, it was either blue, green or red and came out ...

Go to any refinery, Stanlow, Ellesmere port is near us. You WILL see the supermarket tankers filling up with the petrol companies tankers it,s all the same. Should have a wooden "packing" piece separating the metal. Late stuff had the metal to metal affixed by 1 self-tapper. Soooo...many areas to cover in the tombe. Top man,never knew that. Just had a look at UXH,and the wood packing is there. I'll take a pic. Don't suppose your book will be ...

i have seen in several pictures that the tax disc is positioned on the left of the windscreen in a holder. the motor industry heritage trust sells a metal holder and replica discs from whatever year you want. the holder mounts with a screw but i have no idea where it screws in or into what it screw...
