Re: PARTS FOR 48 LOWLIGHT TOURER WANTED

Thank you for your message. Thomas will be pleased if you can find it. He hopes to have the car finished ready for the NMMK annual camping holiday which will be near him in Denmark in 2022. He is very much a Minor man so your old car is in good hands.

Re: Early gearknob

Actually from a 30s 4 speed Morris. Have used on an MM in the pst but the later 8 Series E or 10M bakelite knob is a better match to the original rubber MM knob

Re: Dymano Mounting bracket width discrepancy

The original dynamo for an MM was a C39PV , maybe the end bracket thickness or the length of the body was different to the later C40 dynamo. Will measure my water jacket on my low mileage MM engine tomorrow.

Re: Rich

Re: Gear shift lever knob

We still have a few left in the club stocks. It is unlikely we will get any more made as they cost us about £30 each. In Rob's photos the bottom left is the right one as is same as that on at least 2 or 3 of the MMs I have owned. The bottom left is a solid possibly bakelite version as fitted to the ...
