Radiator repair
Hi all,any recommendations re radiator repairs? I am in the Romford Essex area so needs to be fairly local .Its a series MM rad,if that makes any difference.

Yes,I thought the same thing but they are the same way as in your photo.
To be honest I have tried both ways and seen no difference in the over
heating problem!

Phil,my fan is much closer to the rad than that photo shows.Cast iron pump but blades seem shorter too.

Hi all,in view of my recent/past overheating problems,which way do the fan blades mount on the water pump? Mine are mounted with the strenghtening struts facing the radiator,I think this is correct but am sure you lot can confirm or condemn! Now checked EVERYTHING but cannot find any obvious problem...

Only overheats at speed,fine when moving slow or idling.

Mixture is good,,,,colourtune,,,,fan belt is tight,,,,no thermostat,,,,,temp gauge fitted ,ignition adjusted ok,reaches 120-140 and boils and steams through rad overflow,so that water does not enter through top hose to engine,new water jacket.It has always run hot but this year is worse.Tappets adju...

Hi all, my ‘52 MM sidevalve is over heating. Flushed radiator,all clear and water seems to flow through engine ok.Water pump is good,can see flow through radiator.The blades on the pump seem very small,is this correct? Hi Guys,my original bakelite indicator switch has taken to turning itself off too soon.Is there a repair available for these? Or does anyone know of a fix?
