Re: Traveller heated rear windows - any good?

I have them on my Traveller and swear by them. They take about four or five minutes to take effect and then I just switch them off and let the residual heat take the rest of the condensation away.

Re: morris minor needed for wedding

Okay, see if you can get yourself down to The Bell Inn, Bell Hill, Finedon, Nr. Wellingborough, next Wednesday night at about 8pm. The Northants Branch will be having their monthly meeting there and you should be able to find someone there who can offer some help :D Good luck, and let us know how yo...

Re: So what do YOU want from the MMOC website?

Can't really see how this is useful, to be honest. All it does is replicate what you get by going to ebay.co.uk and typing 'Morris Minor' in the search field!

Re: HELP WITH SUSSING OUT THE CORRECT YEAR PLEASE...

The dashboard switches do look earlier - not the best pictures to see from but it looks like a pull-start, and that definitely isn't right on a 1970 registered car. Ask the vendor for its id number from the bulkhead plate?

Re: morris minor needed for wedding

You'd need to be a bit more clear about what you're looking for before anyone could help really - what day in July, whether you're looking for the archetypal white Minor convertible with red roof/trim or something else, how far you'll be wanting to go and/or how much of the day you'd want the car, e...

I'm afraid it will be a while before anything that you can see will happen - it's not quite as easy as 'that sounds good, let's do it'! I did say Don't hold your breat!

Registration Form, info letter, and accommodation info, is all now on the site http://minors-on-tour.org.uk/ in the 'Thinking of Coming' category. I'll add some info on the local area etc as and when time constraints allow.

As you wish - but surely it wouldn't take long just to write a front page headline with a link to whoever is sending out the booking forms? Like I said, you're welcome to the admin keys   FYI I did my share of hard work for the MMOC when I lived in the UK Hopefully you'll remember then ho...

Re: So what do YOU want?

No thanks keep it free, or people will just make a new account each month for the free trial :-? Why do you want to take our money anyways? If i wanted to be a member ill join the club and pay. I dont think this would generate more club members anyway and if it did its wrong forcing people into hav...

Re: MOT 2014

Hi Mary If you'd like to think back a couple of years, you'll remember the MOT website was an archive of older photos, and one or two reprints of trip reports from Minor Matters. There was a free messageboard, from BraveNet if I remember correctly, that acted like a 'guestbook' and had the occasiona...

Re: So what do YOU want?

These are all great ideas, so many thanks and keep them coming. Do remember though that I'm talking about the whole website, not just the messageboard - most suggestions so far seem to focus on the board alone. Please also remember that these are just ideas at this stage and of course there aren't a...

So what do YOU want from the MMOC website?

Over the coming months, the club will be looking at revamping the current MMOC website, and quite likely the messageboard itself will be part of that revamp. Don't go holding any breath, because you won't see any changes for quite a while yet, but good ideas that are raised now are more likely to fi...

Re: idle insurance query

Best bet is to give them a bell - there's a post near the top of the board with their phone numbers. They've probably just lost your club member number. From what you've said it sounds like the rate you've been offered now is available as a non-member but that a lower price should/might/won't be ava...

It depends on what's happening next. If I was keeping the car I'd go black, because it has a better look. But if I was selling I'd go clear, so the prospective purchaser wouldn't be worried that I was covering something up!

Like Paul, BruceK and I will be at the open day. It's not quite the last outing though, there's the FJ open day in a couple of weeks (although that's a Tuesday for some obscure reason).
