Re: Traveller brass wood inserts

1/4" BSF on mine Don Ive also obtained 22 ¼ BSF threaded brass inserts for fixing my rear wings. The original fitment was an expanding steel insert. These new ones are screw in type and are less likely to corrode and stain the wood. I decided to fit inserts as I can then easily unbolt the wings...

Has multiple uses :o

You can apply lanolin cream or paste directly onto your nipples or any affected areas on your areola anytime you are experiencing nipple pain, or as a preventive measure

Yes half a fairlead 'seal' A fairlead is a device to guide a line, rope or cable around an object, out of the way or to stop it from moving laterally The Mini ones have a 'seal' usually being shorter and made of rubber compound...the minor ones are lubricated/greased and whilst providing a seal as w...

Re: Interesting Repair Panel

That is a LH side "sill member" AAA1445 I think? Probably one part of the Morris Minor which remained relatively unchanged during the years of production - except for the addition of a seatbelt captive mounting in around 1961. Yes except its the RH one maybe its an optical illusion.... It...

That is half of an original fairlead worn right through by the cable...

The original is like a waxed/greased cloth like an old flat firehose.

I think that an overdrive unit mounted on the rear axle is easiest for the Minor....a 5 speed box will be much easier though

The b post spotwelding at the top of the bracket is the hardest to fake as it is done before the outer section of the b post is welded on ....looking at yours it looks ok to me......stripping the paint on the spotwelds would show for sure...as would original synthetic paint under being undisturbed w...

Re: Help for the wiper parts

Those are the same on many lucas wiper spindles so here in uk buy a few used ones or cheap NOS wheel boxes off ebay and fit the best one! If you have a local breakers yard you should be able to find 1/2 dozen in 10 minutes Whilst you have it removed dont forget to replace the rubber shaft seal (Pt. ...

I would add Namrick to that list.

If you use lots then a bulk pack like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271911167163 ... Swu4BVioxx

is best value for money and can often be bought at autojumbles etc...saving postage costs..

Re: Aluminium Rain Gutter Fitting.

Just use a tape measure to measure the length of the radius part on your timber or from the roof joint if you prefer? This will vary slightly with each car depending on the radius used on the timber... Ray Newells Morris Traveller book shows loads of pics of it being fitted too and indicates a cut o...
