Sparesman regarding your post I have to disagree with you on this,If you look in the Morris Minor seriesmm operation manual first edition it shows the plug gauge as in my original post(the one with the photos) but in the seventh edition of the manual which is the one for my car it shows a different ...

Series mm rear seat strap
Does anyone have a photo of the rear seat securing strap on the series mm.Some little kid ripped it some 50 years ago & now has to replace/renew it.Every thing come home to roost !!! I believe it is a spring loaded catch which sits over a domed rivet,if anyone can help that will be great also wh...

you can do it by using M6 thumb screws with nut & shkprf washer.If you look at page 35 in Ray Newells Original Morris Minor he shows a picture of a series mm wheel & this shows a pointed rivet at 3 locations on the rim.Use the m6 thumb screw instead of the rivet with the flat part of the thu...
