checkedfor worn rubbers and good look round gave a grease up . and no probs, took filler tops of shocks full to the brim have taken dome out now have some movement they were vitualy solid no bounce will try tomorrow see if any better,,grandad

hello on driving on good roads shocks seem fine but a sharp little pot hole and things very much different loud bang as though suspencion bottoming out does this mean shocks u/s or just oil change..grandad

i have read on this site of people using a schring to fill rear cylindrs but we have had no bother. but some seem to. some jobs on morris cars do seem difficult. but nice and steadt does it and you get there,,grandad

Steam engine well stoked - thanks! But today - it was 1250 bhp diesel power for me - with 8 wheel drive ! Not in 'Highlands' either!! I would love to see how he will get this 'grease' into the dampers - but it is an ill-fated project I fear. He will find SAE40 oil from motorcycle shop will be fine ...

Thanks GD. Actively looking for larger rear dampers which can be adadpted to the rear suspension. I believe the fronts are adequate (with good oil) - but the rears are a bit on the small side. Your W 1500 does have larger/different front dampers to the Minor - and will respond to more viscous oil (...

hello my mate says he is going to fill front suspencion s with grease, i think not a good idea your thoughts please, i have a slightly thicker oil in mine which seems to help which has been sugested by others on this site.. grandad
