I’m not sure I can show enough detail for you Philphilthehill wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 7:21 pm A 7 psi cap is perfectly acceptable.
If you are not sure what vehicle the 1275cc engine is originally from just post a picture of the engine and it will become clear what vehicle the 1275cc engine came from.

Re: Radiator Cap & Thermostat
Thanks The rad cap that is fitted to my 1275 engine is 7 psi It was from a midget I think but it’s been rebuilt by a company called Ivor Searle and they have fitted their own serial number so I’m not sure what it came from. I wasn’t sure whether to stick with 7 or fit a 4 I have no issues with the o...

I was looking the .gov website and found this regarding requirement for MOT Engine Alternative cubic capacities of the same basic engine and alternative original equipment engines are not considered to be a substantial change. Wheels
I’ve got pick up wheels with 165 70 14 tyres on my saloon however the spare wheel doesn’t fit where it should.
I was wondering if I could use a standard wheel as a spare or would it be possible to move the shelf in the boot to accommodate the wider wheel
Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks
I will give that a go for the price first
If not I will get a replacement of the one I have and open the holes as Phil suggested

Re: Thermostat housing
The housing from a 'B' Series engine fits if you drill out the holes to 3/8" diameter, and points in the right direction to fit the standard Minor top hose - the outlet from the 'B' housing is slightly larger than the Minor, but a little working will get it on without too much trouble. Will th...

Thermostat housing
I’ve got a 1275 engine in my saloon and it has a battered looking housing I’ve had a look on line and can’t see one that’s the same as mine . The outlet pipe has a very slight kink towards the radiator and the ones I’ve seen got straight out as per pic Some are around £8 and others are £25 but they ...

Re: Saloon interior 67
Thanks I need to change my 2 complete front seat covers and you can get a leather set for £300 for the pair However they wouldn’t quite match the rear seat as the lines go from top to bottom I could change the rear as well I suppose but would be a bit pricey for no real benefit I think I will go for...
