well it says good working order, and i suppose you pay your money etc, I know it will need a new bell housing I was more concerned about ratios. If its off a 2.8i it should cope with a 1275

TYPE 9 GEARBOX

can anyone tell me are all type 9 gearboxes the same as there is one on ebay for £80 buy it now. Its a 5 speed type 9 gearbox, taken from a capri 2.8i would this work ok with a marina 1275?

Thanks Roger for the reply but, no joy. I have taken the hole thing apart and have now broken the new barell trying to put it all back together again. All I wanted to do was have all the locks on one key.
I have now bought a new lock complete and still cant see an easier way to change it?

Hi all, after buying a car with no keys I have just received a set of lock barrells from ESM for pre 64 two door saloon. My question is what are the three barrells for? one for the drivers door, one for ignition but the third, I assumed was for the boot lock but there seems to be no way to fit it. A...

hi all, I have non retractable seat belts which I want to replace in a two door saloon, my question is where do inertia belts fit? If I use the original mounts the top mount isn't in line with the bottom. There doesn't seem to be any where suitable for the top mount.

thanks for that jimk, sounds more trouble than its worth, do all the bits come with the kit, gearbox as well? as £400 sounds too cheep if thats the lot MMC in Bath want over a grand to do it, + VAT
